Kaitlyn Aquino, MMus, MTA, NMT-F

Kaitlyn is the founder of Rhythmic Rehab Inc, a rehabilitation company providing high quality Neurologic Music Therapy services to individuals with neurologic impairment across the lifespan in Toronto, Ontario. She is a certified Music Therapist (MTA) and Neurologic Music Therapist Fellow (NMT-F) with a Master of Music in Applied Music and Health Sciences from the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Corene Thaut, co-founder of Neurologic Music Therapy. Her areas of expertise include neuro-developmental disorders and neurologic illness and injury across the lifespan, addressing cognitive, sensorimotor, speech and language and psychosocial needs. Specializing in neurorehab, Kaitlyn completed her clinical training at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in their inpatient units with MEDRhythms under the supervision of Caitlin Hebb, and the Neurologic Music Therapy Services of Arizona under the supervision of Suzanne Oliver. Kaitlyn is an Assistant Facilitator with the Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy, a member of the recently formed International Academy Task Force representing Canada, the Eastern Canada Support Chapter Facilitator, and the Treasurer for the Music Therapy Association of Ontario. Kaitlyn is a passionate advocate of Neurologic Music Therapy, collaborating with community partners to educate and treat individuals living with neurologic impairment.
